Jinko Solar is the world's largest panel manufacturer by shipped volume and a consistent Bloomberg NEF Tier 1 manufacturer. Their Tiger Neo TOPCon panels are among the most efficient in the market at 22–23%. Quality is generally strong across their premium lines.

Jinko panels carry a 25-year linear performance warranty and a 12-year product warranty. Expected lifespan in well-maintained systems is 25–30 years. The Tiger Neo series is warranted to no more than 0.4% annual degradation — better than the industry standard of 0.55%.

Tiger Neo uses TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) cell technology, achieving higher efficiency (22–23%) and lower degradation than standard PERC. It's Jinko's current premium product line and a meaningful upgrade in longevity from their older Cheetah PERC panels.

Their temperature coefficient is -0.30% per °C for TOPCon vs -0.35% for PERC — meaning Tiger Neo panels perform slightly better in high heat. This is a meaningful advantage in climates like Australia, Spain, or the Middle East where summer temperatures regularly exceed 35°C.

Soiling and shading are the most common causes for systems under 10 years old. If underperformance is uneven across panels on the same string, this points to a hotspot or cell crack issue — particularly in older Cheetah PERC panels, which had a higher incidence of hotspots than their successors.

Jinko has factories in China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the US (for IRA-compliant panels). Most panels sold in Australia, UK, and Europe are manufactured in China or Vietnam. For US installations requiring domestic content, confirm IRA compliance at time of purchase.
